TNC has created dynamic web sites and databases for a variety of companies with an array of project specifications. From 1995 to 1997 TNC worked with both large and small companies taking on various projects including online brochure type sites to developing expansive databases of information for sites like NGV.ORG. TNC also developed a relationship with the Southern California Gas Company (SCG) as a reliable, professional source for peak shaving on various internal intranet related projects.

In 1998 TNC began developing online applications in addition to creating web sites for clients. The first online application was ePortfolioTrack, formerly known as Research Contract Management System (RCMS). This system allows departments or companies to manage:

  • a portfolio of projects

  • individual project information including contract financial data

  • project deliverables information

  • associated project documents

The system allows administrators to track deadlines, payment status, etc. The application was developed to allow for company specific customization.

SCG was the first company to purchase and use ePortfolioTrack (www.eportfoliotrack.com) to manage their research projects and associated contract information. The State of California's Energy Commission also purchased the system to manage their electric industry research projects and associated contract information. The system continues to be installed and implemented within various SCG departments and full marketing and sales is now starting.

Additional clients sites have included:

  • Outdoor Products, a division of The Outdoor Recreation Group for whom we designed their first web site (1996). (Site has been redesigned)

  • Route 66, extensive web site with a catalog database (1996).

  • Watch Patrol, a database logging of participant activities that can be accessed by several agencies needing information on the participant* they monitor (1999). (Password protected system)

A list of current projects can be found under our Project Portfolio.

Take Note Company continues to develop complex sites and applications using an array of languages including HTML, DHTML, Java, JavaScript, Active Server Pages, Visual Basic, VB Script, Lotus Notes/Domino and Microsoft Access.
